better than the manga?
MHA episode was decent. I feel like next episode will be boring off the preview
I need to catch up. Last episode I watched was todoroki's team and bakugou was about to go OFF next round
better than the manga?
well, you can watch the anime and then read the manga at chap 30-ish
I wouldnt say it's better or worse tho cause both take advantage of their platforms very well...whether it's the colorful animation or the black n white panels
it's not easy to learn japanese
even if your native language is like mine where there's similar punctuation, grammar and vowels it's still hard to be able to read and understand stuff like cultural references such as wordplay or ''slang''
and while you can get a degree or become academicaly fluid in japanese the thing with manga is that you'll still miss on alot....kinda like the difference of keeping a diary to explaining verbally your thought process in english
This only really applies if you learn the language and don't study the culture, both are tied together. The same thing could be said for any language.
No, it's not easy to learn Japanese, and I don't see where I said it was lol
I actually just might. I for sure want to go to Tokyo one day.
May aswell give it a try. If you enjoy it, it's super fun. It only sucks if you don't like it very much because it isn't a language with alot of payoff - there aren't many chances to use it in the west, so it's not as useful as Spanish, Chinese, or English.
I personally only did it because it was fun and having second language learning experience contributes to my career

Yeah, you right.
I dunno I just made that assumption cause you said it so casually like ''go to the grocery store''
Fast Passed the next 3 chapters of Tower of God, so i’ve got 4 new chapters to read
Its crazy how much a good anime adaptation can carry so many manga sales. Jujutsu kaisen and demon Slayer straight up blew up overnight after their anime adaptations, tokyo revengers is probably next. I feel like for the first time especially in japan anime has truly become an advertisement

What's the best way to go about learning it? Did you take classes in college?

My situation was pretty unique. So, I studied in college, but my teacher was a useless white woman. I didn't learn to speak a word in that class. But she still signed my papers to go to Japan because whatever.
Then I learned everything in Japan. That's the best way imo, when you're immersed you are forced to struggle and can not ignore your weaknesses. You adapt or you b**** out and go home.
Started watching daily lives of high school boy last night
Fell asleep during episode 3. Not cause it was boring tho. Was too faded.
prolly gonna finish the rest tonite

I'll take classes then. You're right though, the best way to learn another language is to actually use it every day in whatever country the language is that you are studying.

Everyone on the internet saying daily lives won’t make as much sense if you don’t watch hinamatsuri first.
