Gurren Lagann tried to do that in the last arc, I wasn't a huge fan but it's worth checking out

i havent seen too many, the only one that comes to mind for me is Makishima from Psycho-Pass but I wanna see some more characters like that

I personally haven’t really dove into horror just yet. One show I’ve seen is myanimelist.net/anime/12445/Tasogare_Otome_x_Amnesia which is a rom/horror lmao. Fun show with some beautiful visuals
