That scene when Thorfinn dropped the dagger was so well done and important symbolism for what Thors said when he first grabbed it
Thorkell was so good this episode with just like 2 minutes of screentime
Him standing back, not following anyone's orders, and knowing that was Canute's moment.
And just vy looking at Thorfinns face, knowing what he'd try to do to Canute

Facts, it’s easy to make Thorkell a muscle without brain stereotype but he’s a warrior. Being a warrior requires incredible intuition and perception like you exemplified. He’s one of the most attentive characters in the show.
