Yeah it will probably improve as the series progress. But damn the intro part is so f***ed. 52 episodes is not enough to adapt 300 chapters even just 5 more episodes would dramatically improve the pacing

I started watching the old one and there's so much breathing room to let the characters to develop, it actually moves too slow at times but the new cuts all that out. Episode 3 animated 9 chapters. Let's just hope they do the rest of series justice
