I LOVE horror anime/manga

There's plot driven horror manga, morbid imagery horror manga, atmospheric horror manga and even plain disturbing horror manga

I'll rec you one of each

Plot driven = doubt/judge
morbid art = ibitsu
atmospheric = parasyte or skyhigh
disturbing = homonculus

now as far as anime go check out Shiki, Another, Vampire Hunter D, Higurashi and School Live (all 10/10 horror classics imo) for more psychological stuff

If you had to read and watch only one of each I'd say watch shiki and read skyhigh

skyhigh is more episodic but each part of it has a way of making you care about each character and have an impact on you....you'll get what im saying

shiki on the other hand is very cold and heartless...thats all Im gonna say
