These past 2 episodes of AoT man has been a emotional roller coaster
Levi and Mikasa had me jumping up and down like a kid at the candy store
The build up in episode 5 to Eren transforming
This s*** really the GOAT of the 2010s

I'll wait to see how the manga ends till I call it the goat but so far the enjoyment I've gotten out of it has already placed it in my top 5
For me AOT has mostly been a 7/10 show (besides s3p1 being a 6 and p2 being an 8)
But it’s interesting because I think s3p2 is when it really began to make you appreciate what the story prior was building up to. So even though I have my issues with each individual season, I also appreciate how ambitiously as a whole it’s gotten to because it lead to the peak of the show at the time with s3p2
And now s4 is even better and I can definitely see the finale warranting that 9 or even 10 rating
Like getting past the first 2 eps is the hardest thing ever I really don’t give much a chance.
Tried black clover
Tried fire force
Tried Vinland saga
Tried golden uamy
Tried steins gate
Black clover and fire force are quite boring at the beginning, steins gate is quite slow at the beginning too, so its understandable, a lot of people quit these shows after the first episodes. You're either watching the wrong anime or you have anime burnout. What are some anime you've been able to finish?

I wouldn't put yourself through black clover tbh Just watch the highlights or a recap and start watching from the new releases going on now. It's not worth watching 150+ episode of

Aniwatch says I'm blocked
AoT crashes the site every week just give it some time
Crazy how much aot influenced the promised neverland
I feel like FMA influenced it a bit
I feel like FMA influenced it a bit
Imo tpm follows almost the exact same plot points of aot.
both the eldians and the kids locked inside walls living a comfortable lie and a certain event makes both realize that they cant live oppressed like that anymore. Fighting against the oppressors (titans and the two mamas), finding a way to beat them and escape with a huge sacrifice (norman and erwin). Finally realizing the truth of the world after being freed. The only things that change are the motives behind the oppression of the humans and there not being any demon shifter in tpm
Still, tpm is still a good story, i certainly prefer watching good stories that took a lot of influences rather than bad stories but original, although the latter can be more intriguing.
And tbh fma influence on aot and tpm is overstated, the only thing fma and aot have in common is they're both at different levels a commentary on war and politics, while fma and tpm dont have anything in common really
stopped reading God of Highschool when i got caught up with it a couple months ago, gunna pick it back up now that i’ve got ~20 chapters to read
cant wait to see how this ends, should be coming very soon
My top 5 shonen
One Piece
Hunter x Hunter
Fullmetal Alchemist
Death Note
Noragami
Good list
But Mob Psycho..?
And is AOT shonen or seinen?

sounds like a personal problem you should learn to get past by making yourself watch more than two episodes before dropping a show. most anime i’ve seen take longer than 2 episodes to really get going and sink the hooks in you

Ok that makes sense. I could have burnt out a bit. See I just started watching anime last year and watched most of the “top tier” ones
Hunter X Hunter (10/10)
FMA Brotherhood (9/10)
Demon Slayer (9/10)
Attack On Titan! (10.5/10)
Assassination Classroom (10/10)
Your Lie In April (10.5/10)
My Hero Academia (9.5/10)
Plastic Memories (9/10)
Anohana (9/10)
Clannad/Afterstory (9/10)
Toradora! (9/10)
Blood Lad (9/10)
Angel Beats (9/10)
Your name. (9.5/10)
God Eater (9/10)
I Want To Eat Your Pancreas (10/10)
Talentless Nana (10/10)
The Promised Neverland (9/10)
Akame Ga Kill! (10/10)
Death Note (10/10)
I like any anime that gives me a new perspective on something. I’ve been pretty closed minded in this life. So I think that’s why I fw slice of life so heavy. Akame Ga Kill was actually the first anime I've ever seen. I probably am burnt out a bit because of all that I’ve seen in one year.
Some that were OK:
Gun Gaile Online (7.5/10)
Erased (7.5/10)
Garden of Words (7/10)
My original plan was to watch all the “best” anime’s and finish with One Piece because it has so many eps ideally I’d have enough eps for years.
But now I see that some of the underrated anime’s are great. If y’all could help based on my likes it would be appreciated

Yeah i guess you got burnout, from what i see vinland saga would be right up your alley, you can either wait until you find anime engaging again or try to keep going with vinland, its a fantastic show, especially if you liked attack on titan!
Also id recommend the monogatari series, rascal does not dream about bunny girl senpai, oregairu, kaguya sama love is war, March comes in like a lion, nana, durarara, baccano, cowboy bebop, samurai champloo. Start with vinland and then go from there
