everyone in this show has been running from something. Everyone from minagawa and ecchan to norika. Hanabi and mugi's case are the most obvious but in reality they're the most brave
I dunno how this is going to end yet but I'm happy I got to see these two kids grow through the ups and downs of their love life....the ending is ofc important but this is already at least an 8/10 for me
Dang that’s another good perspective on the major themes of the show because I was really mainly looking at it as hanabi, mugi, etc as searching for something rather than running from something. That’s why I really liked it so much because we can perceive in different ways. I honestly think that Minagawa may be the loneliest and broken of them all and you’ll see why later on.
Yeah the ending is gonna hit you harder than a truck hitting the MC of an isekai. I really like Hanabi’s character progression and I actually hated her a lot in the beginning lol. She initiated that whole pinky promise in the beginning and was wishy washy on mugi throughout that first half had me like

The latest arc does get confusing at some parts so you're gonna have to read this part multiple times, especially to understand the abilities of certain nen users, but the manga's always been like this. The anime did a great job at explaining nen without making it confusing tbh. Where u at in the manga?

King Fujimoto killing off another one of his series quickly instead of letting it drag on and get ruined.

One page usually has more dialogue than a whole chapter of some series. You need to be sober to read hxh manga.
