Pretty sure, if anything it might just have some extra details but the animation is better than the original from what i've read as well

This has me so hyped about aot, since its probably the anime they'll put most of their work in this year and they already did a fantastic job animating goh and jujutsu

Wit studio did AOT normally but for last season Mappa took over cause Wit too busy w other shows (like Vinland)

Hope the quality stays the same but it looks like it

the director’s cut just has a couple extra scenes every episode that were cut from the original release

one of the biggest pros of tokyo ghoul are the character designs and that it just looks cool

but the main reason I fell in love with it is that there's no good and evil....the most self-righteous characters have been the cause of tragedy at some point and even characters that did horrible things earn the readers' respect later as the plot thickens and even then it doesnt stick to just plain ''role reversal''
