Akudama Drive first episode was so good. I love the Danganronpa games so when i found out the DR writer and DR character designer was working on this it was definitely one of my priority shows. They didn't skip a beat, its so f***ing stylish and has such a strong sense of visual identity.

railgun t was dope as hell, i'll retroactively call it my AOTS for summer 2020 since it was a lot better than all the other seasonals i was watching then lol

none of the episodes are hitting like stardust crusaders did and i feel like im forcing myself through it to get to Vento Auero

It’s still going through the original events of the story (it’s even more faithful to the vn in certain scenes). It’s just showing things ahead of time that we wouldn’t have known yet

If you want to watch it simultaneously with the og or hold off until you watch it that works fine. Though I can’t imagine them promoting this as a remake if they didn’t intend on making it a satisfying experience for newcomers

I’m gonna hold off and see what everyone’s saying after a few episodes air. If anything I might just power thru the original but I have other shows I’m watching and I barely have time to even watch anime

the maids aren’t evil but one them suspects Subaru as someone dangerous and Emilia is actually a different character than Satella (she’s revealed much later on) they just both look alike. Don’t worry it’s a little confusing at first but once it comes together it gets crazy af I don’t wanna explain too much rn bc I’m afraid I’ll spoil something

new haikyuu was hype but damn the art this episode was ugly

i know that this ep was outsourced so it is what it is but hopefully it recovers in later episodes or imma have to run this match back in the manga
