A little sad to see HorribleSubs die. They were really fast and convenient for watching seasonals. Luckily a replacement will pop up within the next one or two weeks. They probably won't make their own website so it'll be like 1 or 2 minutes of extra work going on nyaa and typing in the show name but its whatever I guess.

Also Erai still exists so even though they don't release the eps minutes after they air like HS did, there's still a way to watch em.

One thing I wish they didn't do in Higurashi was show that scene at the beginning. I think the tonal shifts throughout the first episode would have been more impactful if it was something that just came out of nowhere.

Fun first episode though. Already like it more than anything from last season tbh
