the power scaling isn’t trash, you just don’t know how strong Mori actually is

but like i said from the jump, the story only really starts coming together after the first part

idk man, was kina anticlamactic hyping up this "key" and nine tails s\*\*\* then having it get handled by the mc that quickly, Mori was kinda going head to head with the nine tails before he even gets the power up. Would expect a nigga that destroyed half of heaven to one shot someone like Mori before he even gets a chance to power up or w/e.

2nd half of the episode i didnt even know wtf was going on, they said before that Ilpyo was the key, then in the last part of the episode Sang says that he himself is the key?? I know that you read the webtoon but from an anime only perspective this s\*\*\* confusing asf

no i definitely agree with you, Ilpyo x Mori is a good fight but very anticlimactic.

hmm that does sound confusing, let me make it a bit clearer: none of them actually know who the key is. they’ve all got their bets on who it is, but none of them know for sure yet.

this first part is such an odd start for the series cuz it really is confusing and a lot of it doesn’t make complete sense until other things are revealed later in the plot. it all pays off tho

Slightly spoilerish, you have to view Mori Jin in the 1st part of GOH like hes Saitama/OPM. He just expends more effort.

The power scaling goes up to DBZ levels pretty fast, which is disorienting tbh. But it does balance out about mid way through the series.

It feels all over the place because it feel like NOTHING has been explained. s*** just be happening, dudes getting random power boosts out the blue

Like the show gotta answer some questions too much s*** going on with little to no context on why the f*** its going on

Its like if you just jumped into a random episode of jojo's. You got no idea what a stand is, who an enemy, how they got a stand, etc. They gotta slow it down and actually say what is up

na bruh you still not getting it. this is a series with a ton of extensive lore and world building, so instead of hitting you over the head with it at the beginning, it slowly builds and expands while explaining bits and pieces when you need to know them/when they become relevant to the story.

it starts out simple and pretty much avoids explaining certain things on purpose. you just gotta trust that it pays off, cuz it really does.

i know the big picture is far from explained rn, but idk how you’re having trouble understanding that everyone is in a fighting tournament for their own personal reasons, and that the people holding the tournament have some ulterior motives. that’s deadass all you need to know rn lol be patient and the rest will be explained.

I'd like to know more bout charyeok

if it's a power by ancient/supernatural beings does that mean there can be a limited amount of users?

plus what are the criteria for a charyeok spirit's user? is it based on personality and resonance with the borrowed power or by the amount of training in martial arts?

can the use of charyeok reverse aging like shinsu in tog?and if it does does that mean people like mujin and Q are ''immortal''??

and can someone have more than one or is it like a soul binding contract?

too many questions, 400 chapters to catch up to and not enough time

aight let me try and answer some of these.

    1. There’s no limit on amount of borrowed power users.

    2. BP is based on spiritual resonance mostly, but you’ll also see cases where lineage and desire are deciding factors on who the subject borrows power from.

    3. BP doesn’t effect mortality

    4. a person can only have one BP at a time, but if either party voids the contract and the bond is broken then there’s nothing stopppng them from getting a different borrowed power.

    I see, thanks

I was 70% sure yoo mira's BP had to do with her lineage but with this now I'm 100% sure.

BP is less complex than I thought
