he's able to write about stuff like immortality, pop culture, sex, religion, delusional behavior, insanity, the uncertain purpose of life...all while keeping his characters and story within his boundaries without any of it being loony

that's f***ing impressive

Big agree. Chainsaw Man is great but Fire Punch is on an entirely different level for me. He tackled a lot of subjects amazingly well in that manga.

I don't know about the Anime but the Manga is great

Just finished the second season of Monogatari and it was really good. I would even say the best Monogatari Anime i've seen so far. I really liked that there were multiple events happening around the same time like in a Tarantino movie. Every arc was better written if you compare it to their Bakemonogatari counterpart.
Hitage End is the highlight in Monogatari so far and a 10/10
Overall strong 8 though.
