Yeah idk what’s up with the pacing even tho I haven’t read the beginning of comic since it first came out years ago so some s*** is hazy I do realize the anime is cutting out parts of the comic which is kind of annoying

i watched the first 3 episodes and then started reading, and yeah i can confirm it’s cutting some s***. like Mori meeting the old dude from the 6 and getting f***ed up by him as opposed to him just eating the fruit in the anime.

it’s building towards the same events tho so anyone watching, FYI i def wouldn’t give up on it this early into the first season just like Tower of God, GoH starts relatively slow

I love the anime I’ve been waiting years for this to be adapted but so far but it just feels weird how they cut things out and it’s so noticeable

idk i think it’s only noticeable cuz we’ve read the s*** it cuts out. even the webtoon does that thing where it doesn’t show everything that happens in a specific match or time, it just shows the relevant parts and the result, like in the non-MC tournament fights. it caught me off guard even while reading, but it just took a lil while to get used to

I hadn't read the manwha until just now and even I noticed it, the anime jumps around like crazy and you feel like you missed something.

UBW is partially tainted by the 2005 original DEEN adaptation of Fate/Stay Night being dogshit and that sticks in some peoples minds.
