Lore Olympus has awful art lmaoo

Guys is there a miscommunication here or what. Animation means the actual movement of the characters and objects. Art style has nothing to do with it.

Thats the problem: I have no idea. You'll probably have to ask them to be more specific since it seems like a decent amount of people in this thread use the word animation to refer to art style instead of actual animation.

Not that difficult to get: people have different opinions.

For me I never said I straight up “HATE” the art style of the anime, but ppl keep interpreting it as me saying that. It’s just not the appealing to me.

My main issue is the line work for the character. And the coloring. Typically I would would like that type of line work. But the combination of the colors, anime style, and the lines are something I’m not crazy over. It doesn’t look terrible, I’m just not that into it.

If we’re talking about the WEBTOON however, I hate the art of the WEBTOON and find it unreadable despite how good the story may be. Part of the reason the anime may throw me off is that it’s going for an aesthetic that’s faithful to the Webtoon, when I don’t like the Webtoons art at all

I actually avoided WEBTOON as a platform for years because Tower of God’s artstyle. It being so popular made me think that was the standard for most of them

Maybe it’ll grow on me. I don’t dislike the anime. It’s just that everyone has been hyping it to being “one of the best anime in the last few years”, and been saying ppl say it’ll be revolutionary

Whenever I check out a new anime I go by the 5 episode rule

Even someone like me that loves tog...I cant really know if it's going to be good just from a couple episodes
