If Senku's dad and his mates founded the village 3700 years ago how come it's just one village? Should be way more people

Some could have left and branched off, not like there's communication tho and would depend on how far they traveled. You also have to consider how easy it would be for failed pregnancies, disease, and other things to limit a populations growth in such Stone age type conditions

100+ generations have passed in 3700 years, there should definitely be more than one village. Even if people moved away shouldn't there be villages nearby? It's a great location.

The only explanation is there was a plague, even then very convenient that the only village in the area is the original village.

I'm not even sure if that was the OG, because didn't his dad and co. land on an island? Whereas Senku was able to walk to this place from wherever he started in Japan. I guess that could have been the OG place and s\*\*\* eroded away over the course of 3000+ years, but in the flashback with his father it didn't look that similar.

Well for starters you also gotta think that there's a limited food supply so you have to cautious of not having too many children.

Another thing is I don't think the writer probably thought it out that hard. For instance Senku's dad was probably meant to be his blood relative, but to not have people feeling weird or talking about incest he just mad him an adopted parent so that Senku can get with the one chick.

Yeah that's what I wanted to say. It's either a plot hole or a big contrivance.
