Dude these first two episodes are a bit hard to watch with the plot but I'm intrigued for sure lmao

I get that, but the dialogues in dubbed is legit funny AF and it’s so well done. Apparently the VA for Okabe wrote the script and it shows. This is Cowboy Bebop tier dubbing.

It’s great but read the manga

havent read the manga but the message the movie wanted to give was conveyed very well imo

I watched the movie first and read the manga second, I highly recommend the manga because it has the full story and is stronger emotionally

I'm okay with how the movie ended plus I've been trying to keep up with too much stuff atm

In the movie I didn't understand why they all suddenly hang out and pretend they're a friend group

In the manga it's because they're all working on an indie film for the school festival, they cut it from the movie because it would've been too long

I also felt like there's more insight on the secondary characters, and also their mothers (Ishida and Nishimiya)

However the ending and the peak dramatic scene (you know what it is) are the same

oh okay I thought something was missing from the ending which in that case I'd have to read it.

as far as their mothers go I like how the s*** between em was implied instead of focusing on that to add drama

For a drama it can sure be subtle

I didn't really like the girl who keeps acting out and being a b**** (didn't like her in both)

It be like that in slice of life mangas sometimes

Like when I read Ao Haru Ride everybody was acting like a b****

Finished watching Kaguya sama yesterday. Overall I enjoyed it (the music was especially really good) but man I don't think I have it in me to watch another school festival or fireworks in anime.
Was actually the reason I stopped reading the manga around 110 chapters in a year ago
