na that’s one of the slowest, most boring seasons of anything i’ve ever seen. they’ll spend like an entire episode just looking at a Titan there was no reason for the plot to move at a snail’s pace that early on, made me drop it years ago and just now came back to finish it.

my only real gripe with anime nowadays is that you don't really get super auteur-esque stuff like Serial Experiments Lain or Texhnolyze anymore, but the average quality of anime has gone up so much since that era.
