May 23, 2022Watched Vampire in the Garden today. I thought it was pretty good. The story was predictable imo but I think it was done really well, Lots of cute moments between Momo and Fine and even though I wasn't really invested in them the death scene with them really did hit hard af the music and voice acting was just so good. I think maybe it could have used an episode or two more but I think it does it's job a little bite sized story.

ScooterI cant explain why but I really liked it. Characters and relationships are portrayed well and the pacing is pretty well done throughout. Theres not much to the characters but theres enough imo so I ended up liking the main 2

yessir. you know, it's crazy cause the moment the final scene played and the credits started to roll I felt a wave of bittersweetness wash over me. It had a happy ending, but I still felt sad (it probably had something to do with saying goodbye to the characters).
Also, I know Afterstory is super acclaimed (deservingly), but I also really enjoyed the 1st season. I found the atmosphere very relaxing for some reason.
but yeah, it was very satisfying to see Tomoya's character progression.
The scene where Tomoya is on the train with Ushio and he starts to remember Nagisa destroyed me.

thru 2 volumes of one piece so far. it is indeed pretty good. (for reference volume 2 ends when buggy is about to start his flashback about his time with shanks)

1st season is one of my favorite rom coms (if you can call it that) oat. All the characters flow and develop so well

yeah you can tell it was a super sudden ending
Kubo opened up a ton of threads then just completely abandoned them and ended the series within a 3-chapter span
