it's generic battle s*** with the super power of friendship lmao kinda like fairy tail but it's well done generic battle s*** with great panels and characters that are actually more than you think at first glance

thats just my opinion tho I dunno what the truth is.....I just enjoy the manga every week for the brief 5-10 minutes I read it.

it's not like others in its genre where you breakdown all the details in awe and think ''how tf is this being made weekly?'' y'know?

It has strengths and weaknesses. I think the story is pretty generic for a shounen anime. But it has a very loveable and diverse cast of characters that makes it interesting enough to watch IMO.

This what I thought. I used to read it up until the very beginning of the arc after the elf arc.

yea personally i kept reading because i thought the black bulls reminded me of the straw hats (for the parts of one piece i watched, up to alabasta which is like 1/10th of the show now lol)

structure wise...the elf arc is my fav so far....everything worked in great synergy

which is the only thing imo the current arc does not have

it does have more great moments than the elf arc. See, that's the thing with the narrative of black clover....the roof keeps goin higher and higher in every aspect that I think the author or the readers will eventually get fatigued

BUT at the same time, what this author/artist knows how to do best (and i think anyone reading it can agree with me) is balance dark fantasy elements with super power ''hero'' type stuff

this is a really accurate description of the show. very very likeable cast and interesting world building

I'm going to read it but I want to read it in Japanese and finding quality, raw scans for anything is not a good time, especially older issues of stuff.

all 1000+ chapters in japanese sounds like a crazy collection to have

it will be time and money consuming but your trouble getting it will make it so much more worthwhile

i'd also add to avoid buying from one specific source at bulk....imagine showing off your old manga collection to your kids one day with stories from where and how you got each of em volumes/magazines...sounds neat, doesnt it
