Finished Yona of the dawn, pretty solid but it doesn't look like it'll get a season 2 so I watched 24 episodes for nothing

i thought s1 was decent enough for what it is but s2 and especially s3 were boring af, cant believe they had people waiting 6 years for that mid

if u enjoyed the anime and dont mind reading manga its definitely worth a read. the anime is pretty much just the prologue, even moreso than something like vinland saga, and definitely gets a lot better.

also unlike vinland saga in that s2 is probably never happening

So I just watched the last episode of this part of the season. Pretty cool and interesting episode but what it reminded me really is that I used to like this anime and now I don't really. It feels like a lot of things that happened in "season four" are either boring or not grounded and like they keep switching between tones and the characters don't really feel like characters now.

It's still interesting to keep up and the plot just keeps building up but I just want it to end already. I was disappointed to hear they had to make a third part. Just don't call it the final season if it's not the final season?

Since I got spoiled about the ending it seems like a lot of the plot that happens now is irrelevant lol. It would be better if AOT relied less on the ending and more on the journey somehow.

This season was mixed for me, some episodes like the last one and the one where Eren and Zeke went through memories were great and moved the plot heavily, and some were weak. I'd say not liking the characters is the main drawback for me and I wouldn't mind the pacing if I truly cared about them.
