Though they were both fun s***watch shows, Gibiate and Taboo Tattoo were both terrible on a technical level. I don't think there was a single thing either of them could be called even below average at.

Other than those two locking up guaranteed spots, I just have a bunch of contenders that I hated for various reasons. The two main reasons being just terrible writing or being soulless and more generic than s*** that's already generic.

Happy Sugar Life's romanticization of suicide was stupid. Mushoku Tensei's inability to criticize the MC's pedophilia, grooming, etc., when its supposedly a redemption story is just terrible writing if I were to say it in the nicest way possible. Kuma Miko's whole shtick of sexualizing and bullying a little girl while everyone else in a show was OK with it was weird and actively went against the main narrative of the show.

Shows like Hinako Note, Sewayaki Kitsune no Senko-san, and Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai! were all just super generic and had me bored within like 3 minutes of an episode.

Mostly just talking about last year which was especially horrible. Everything else has been pretty decent.

dont talk about mushoku tensei like that the watchers will have to finally cope with the nasty s*** they're watching

golden kamuy season 4 and mob psycho III will save anime
