and yeah it’s hella rom coms but they’re all pretty much the same s***.. goofy/shy/nerd/toxic boy somehow attracts the prettiest girl(s) in the classroom to fall for him and they maybe kiss or hold hands at the last episode

i still love that s*** tho cause I think rom com is funniest genre just cause it’s ducking ridiculous.

Demon Slayer's new season was really good, I enjoyed all the battles and especially the final battle, they made it feel really dark and apocalyptic as they wanted, animation and music is as good as ever and it's more fast paced than the first season which is actually a good thing here.

Still not a fan of the characters and writing that much, it still falls into cliche, yet this is not the main focus and as an action anime it goes above and beyond, not to mention as you spend more time with the characters, they get more toned down with their one personality and you start to like them, I already kinda like Tanjiro and his group as characters and rooted for them.

Anyway, I think Demon Slayer raised the bar for what an action anime should be. It's truly the new wave. Viewers want the good s*** and Demon Slayer can provide it. It's a focused story with a vibrant setting, established powers and character goals, and it's consistent and doesn't waste time. And obviously, amazing visuals and battles that keep you on the edge of your seat. The movie and this season were both eye opening about that.
