Yeah so I just finished Devilman. The violence and sexual stuff (while edgy) weren't as bad as I was led to believe. But, while watching the show I did feel like it was underwritten at points, and I found some aspects a lil heavyhanded.

However I was surprised by how much I saw of myself in Akira's emotional response to others - because I often get overwhelmed by the suffering of others (sometimes in less than convenient situations). The credits rolled and as I was trying to organize my thoughts, I felt a wave of sadness wash over me, and then the tears came

Yeah bro it’s dark. I didn’t think the writing was perfect either but the vibe and feeling was definitely there.

i wanna like ousama ranking because its technically very proficient but it aint just hitting for me on an emotional level

Off the bat the cinematography is nice in this show

is tokyo ghouls good/worth a watch im liking choujin x so far so im wondering if its just as good/better than that

Feels like ousama been stalling out for like the last 10 episodes or so which is a shame because it started off so strong imo. The part where they were fighting in front of the castle entrance for like 2-3 episodes was just bad

I’m still holding out hope for this show though, since I’m hardly watching anything else this season (priconne soon maybe 👀)
