ScooterI watched these OVAs thinking thats what the rest of the show was going to be like and experienced the shock of my life when I got to the actual series
Never seen anything else Kenshin related but I always hear Trust and Betrayal is way different

This episode made me cry bruh im ngl
Ive known plenty a Momo in my life (and ive dated a few) so this episode just hit extra hard for me
Son i was not expecting this anime to have this much depth
once you get past the initial weirdness of the premise this s*** is fireDefinitely my favorite episode so far

I should check out the 1997 anime, ignore the other media because s***ty animations and then check the manga, right?Nah just read the manga from the start lowkey
Once you get past vol 12 or so then u can watch the anime if ur curious but the anime cuts out hella s*** from the manga
And besides the manga's art is some of the best ive ever seen

properthis but the reverse. Saw ruroni kenshin first as a kid then freshmen year hs I was in ceramics class and one of the juniors at my table put me onto samurai x (and a bunch of other dark mature bloody animes) and told me this the real kenshin.
