Most people would 🤷🏼‍♂️ at the end of the day that’s how we deal with all time lists. Telling someone they should watch more anime because of an opinion that will be widely held by anime fans is a bit out there imo.

As for your second comment I recently watched the remake of LOTGH and it’s pretty good so far. And I wouldn’t fault people not placing HxH in their top 10 even if they have watched it, it has no real ending 🤷🏼‍♂️ But if it gets a proper end it’ll prob be in the majority of people’s 10.

AoT is great but at the end of the day there are too many great anime to label it solely as the goat.
It's a very good show tho, certain things could have been fleshed out better but no show is perfect so w/e.

Season 3 part 2 was goat level and the show ain’t even in final form yet

Same could be said about fmab( a show that covered the philosophical aspect about war and humanity much better than AoT), hxh(subversion of tropes better applied than AoT ever could), and lots of other shows during their run.
Best to label it in retrospect instead of getting lost in the hype.
