The berserk 2012/2013 movies are

lmaoo damn i didnt think ud like the show that much

dope that it gave u inspiration to do that

i hear the compilation movies arent too bad for the og series but you do miss out on some character development but it gets the point across

personally id just watch the series but id understand someone going for the movies if you dont have free time to watch it all

good to know, im hoping the pacing is decent

it didnt click for me till episode 3 but after that i was like now i want to know more about this franchise

if the movies didnt have the video game type of CGI or at least used it properly they'd be dope

i know this is a very common take but I never understood why berserk never got an ufotable type of adaptation with amazing animation, OST and the whole package

worse manga have gotten better (worse both in quality and explicit content)

unfinished manga on hiatus have gotten better (not a jab at hxh)

less popular manga inside japan with no following outside japan have gotten better

even from a pure profit perspective it never made sense to me.....but hey, if miura didnt get the chance to see it happen who am i to demand it?

honestly only someone in the industry could tell us why

probably something to do with there almost always being easier sells to the main audience that consumes manga (young teens)

berserk is extremely popular but it's a bit much for a lot of people considering how brutal it can be (similar to Gantz)

that and it's just kind of old. similar situation is manga like slam dunk with an unfinished adaptation (that could easily be finished), but they never did/won't for whatever reason
