Finished Fullmetal Alchemist:Brotherhood
I've heard there's two versions, but I really enjoyed this one. The stakes just keep on ramping up as the show goes on.
I'll be real, wasn't sure if I was gonna like this before the episode when envy kills hughes but it connected for me at that point. Felt like the actual inciting event for the whole show. Less 'Anime-isms' and interesting characters that get wild.
Action was fantastic too, and the writing was great. Goes a lil too bananas with the episode when The dwarf homonculus eats God lmao but I had such a great time with this
I'm not exactly sure what takt was shooting for
but they definitely missed
you make me wanna drop it
thats never gonna happen and its probably for the best, the LN ending/resolution was kind of s***
wow now I’m def watching this after komi.
anime’s that only have one season >>>

it's a good watch. the lack of real ending sucks, but there are lessons to be learned from sakurasou

lack of real endings are only bad if you don’t have a strong enough imagination to fill in the blank
Finally watching Code Geass

He's a great character. When he said something like "getting to the top is only worth it when you do it the right way"
his relationship with mob was rlly one of the best things about the show

Bruh this show is sooo good. I finished it months ago but I still think about it on the regular.

I like that he's like a father figure to Mob. Despite lying to him all the time. He's exactly what Mob needs. And that episode where Mob leaves him he realizes he needs Mob too. Great interactions

Probably my favorite anime. I can't even describe how satisfying the end of the show was for me. Literally sent chills down my body.

Yeah that was a great episode. S2 is when the show rlly started to reveal something deeper - s*** is like a perfect mix of goofy comedy, insane action, and profound themes.

I should rewatch it. Always underrated it in my mind because it's goofy but it's one of the most memorable anime I watched. It left an impression.
Plus I think they handled the characters and slice of life stuff really well in the first season. And the battles being manga style is amazing ofc.
