Streets f***ing with Fire Force?

If Ohkubo could write a great story it would be a classic, art is great both in manga and anime, but the story is kinda lackluster although it does have its very few highs

I should rewatch this. Didn't f*** with how the story is written but it was energetic like Soul Eater and the designs were cool.

that’s the thing tho, he makes classics without having great plots. it’s a testament to how strong and unique his art and character designs/personalities are tbh. Soul Eater is a great series with a weak overarching plot, and Fire Force could wind up being even better than that with some expansion across a couple more seasons.

watch Soul Eater first so you can understand Ohkubo’s style. feel like it’ll help you appreciate Fire Force’s slow-ish start

1st season starts out rough but gets better in the 2nd half and i just think the 2nd season is just better then the first. 3rd season and forward is what will make this better or worse then soul eater. Rn i think they're about equal
