The manga is already big, more than 10 million copies sold with 7 volumes out, im afraid of what will happen when the anime drops. If the anime is good this s*** is skyrocketing to the top

ngl can’t wait till I finish monogatari and start something new. not used to watching anime that goes on for this long.. low key monogatari’d out atm but I know if I take a break and start something new i prolly won’t go back and finish it.. but I’m so close to finishing it.. just gonna power thru these last couple eps.

think the last show I watched w this many eps was yomushi pedal but I fast forwarded like 50% of that show cause it was a whole bunch of dbz charge up/fight type filler. (Before y’all s*** on me I still loved this show but it was just way too much filler. a 3 hour bike ride should not be 26 episodes )

you can’t really fast forward anything in monogatari cause you’ll just be lost/confused.

it was this big before CSM

monogatari be like that, you cant imagine how many times I had to rewind that s*** and felt like this is too much

but in retrospect its one of the most unique and chill anime I've watched

think of it this way...if there's too much dialogue then how much of it can REALLY be important?

bro what was director thinking when he decided to flash huge block of text or just text in general for like half a sec 30 times every episode?

like I can never read any of that s*** and I don’t care enough to go back and pause everytime it flashes some s***.

feel like this show for the real anime heads and I’m too causal to fully get it but I still fw it enough to keep watching.

also feel like I’m only getting like 70% of the full experience cause I can’t read/speak Japanese.

Think chihayafuru is one of the longer shows I’ve seen in a while but it’s honestly easy to watch. I can finish szn 3 in a couple days. I’m taking my time with monogatari tho going back forth with other shows
