Just finished Gurren Lagann. Easily the most over the top anime I've seen thus far, but super entertaining. The last few episodes were crazy.

It was dope. Some of the sci-fi elements definitely needed an in depth explanation but I get that that was not the direction the film was going for

it's a nice cathartic coming off age story with inspiration from Beauty and The Beast but in a different age

it was nice, not great, but nice, I enjoyed it.
