After years and years of seeing LN readers hype up their favourite garbage-ass LNs whenever they got an adaptation, I'm glad that 86 ended up being an actual good anime that deserved the hype.

it never gets as bad as WEP did in its final act but its still pretty f***ing bad and getting worse with each episode. its actually a fairly well produced show, but the writing is just that bad, and it never had the promising start that WEP did either

Midway through the first season of Mushishi and it took awhile to grow on me, but this could be my new fav anime.. curious to see if it develops any momentum bc the pace is pretty damn slow

Na, with Crunchyroll’s production record that combo screamed overhyped mid as soon as they announced the title. first few episodes were surprisingly decent, but after that the show became complete ass

I agree. When they killed off the girl pirate band I was like then quickly turned to when i realized they were irrelevant when the navy could easily replace them.
