In January attack on Titan was the biggest show, not anime, show in the United States. Spongebob was #2
ousama ranking intro is heat
First episode 9/10
Pacing was fast but not unmanaged. They handled introducing the story well. Mc adorable af
Artstyle and animation is top notch
Simple yet effective character trait
Recommend heavy
I know I'm probably gonna get some heat for this but I need to rant, One Piece's pacing in the early anime is f***ing ASS
I swear Luffy's just been talking about beating Crocodile's ass for like 20 episodes and at least 10 episodes crossing this f***ing desert just for him to get captured the moment he gets there
Show is cool I just feel like it takes 20 years for s*** to actually happen, I can't even remember the last big fight except for Arlong Park and that was damn near almost a 100 episodes ago, and that was with me SKIPPING filler
Is the rest of the show like this? Bc I'm really losing interest fast

I guess you're in EARLY alabasta before the big fights. If you liked Arlong Park then the highs of alabasta are even better and worth sticking around for.
unfortunately, there ARE pacing issues with one piece that after awhile get even worse which is the reason OnePace exists (just google it although I dont recommend).
There's always the specials such as the Alabasta movie, Episode of Skypiea, Episode of Merry and such which are movie recaps that are great and canon alternatives.
If you didnt like arlong park I'd say drop it but assuming you did and taking into consideration you dont wanna waste time watch the alabasta movie which is 1-2 hrs long with all the major events included.
PS. The movies/specials are not rushed and in some ways even better pacing and animation-wise....OnePace on the other hand may seem comfy but I'd advise you to not go that route cause unlike the specials which oda had a say in, OnePace is entirely fanmade.
can somebody recommend me some good anime to watch..... or even a good anime movie..
Anime I have enjoyed as a reference:
I watched almost ever Hayao Miyazaki films
Dragon Ball franchise
Naruto Shippudden
Berserk: Golden Arc trilogies
Steins;Gate
Yu Gi Oh
Akira
Death Note
The Boy and The Beast
Demon Slayer
Tokyo Ghoul
Samurai Champloo
theres a bunch more but thats all I can think of off the top of my head. I just want a good movie or series to kinda get into, I have Funimation (for now, only a month left on my subscription I should get crunchy roll)
Also, I f***ing hate Attack on Titan, that s*** was garbage to me.
Been hearing good things about shaman king recently
the early episodes were annoying cause of the pacing was hella fast and the animation was trash,
so I'm glad to see they fix that issue up, been waiting for a faithful adaptation for years

Run w the wind or golden boy
or quintessential quintuplets
I feel like inoue's real could be a really good live action adaptation instead of anime

one piece the goat

I think the optimal move is just to watch the OG anime for the pre shaman fight parts, and then swap to the new one

Read the manga. No pacing issues. Those issues exist cause they dont do filler eps much so they catching up fast to the original source material. So they have to stall s*** w face shots, recaps, drawn out fights etc

there's also censorship issues from the manga to the anime
plus if we're being honest the music in one piece isnt anything special.....shit has the same sound effects and themes for 20 years
wano is a must watch tho, there's a reason it was trending online.
