iâm gonna say it
i like Black Clover so far
it reminds me of early Naruto but fantasy instead of ninjas
yeah if you like Shonen youâll like Black Clover. itâa generic but enjoyable
âIf only weâd never met. Then this sadness wouldnât have haunted me.â
Every time I watch that field scene I cry a little

are you watching or reading?
i think its much better read
suffers from shounen anime issue of each episode having 5minute recaps after awhile

Another scene that really got me was the scene on the train when Tomoya is telling Ushio about Nagisa and he starts to break down and cry.
The soundtrack just makes it all hit extra harder. Ep 18 was an emotional masterpiece. Sanae and the old man are one of the best older couples in anime.
Jeez I sound like a high schooler who just discovered the romance/drama genre

Itâs just amazing⊠youâd never think youâd end up like this after watching the first season. I watched the whole Nagisa/Ushio run of episodes and tears were shed. I couldnât believe it.
I think part of the reason he picked Nagisa is because Nagisaâs home felt like home, and he never had a place like this. A family is all he wanted. Then when Nagisa died he neglected Ushio just like his dad did him.
Itâs frustrating to see how much Ushio is trying to push him to be with her and how cold he acts. And forgiving his dad is a big step. Because he was in his shoes for a few years. Obviously they both f\*\*\*ed up but once he was aware he could finally be a father to Ushio.

This is one of the best scenes.
It tells you about Akio and Sanaeâs sacrifices. Itâs a sad story but it sells you on them being good parents. It foreshadows Tomoyaâs sacrifice and the change he has to make.

Then seeing Sanae and Akio sit outside and talk a little bit about their last few years. Akki telling Sanae itâs okay to cry now that Tomoya has come back⊠that scene was something else too

Thatâs why I never recommend skipping the first season (some people do that!) it wonât hit as hard if you didnât see these characters and this story in a different light before.

No way ppl are skipping the first season
weird how I hear some ppl want to because they think itâs boring but those little moments is how you get to really appreciate the characters

Yeah, it's not a show for people who don't appreciate character building. I don't even bother recommending the show to some of my friends because I know they only like shows full of fighting and s***. For me personally, if there isn't some kind of emotional investment in a character, any kind of action becomes instantly boring.
Clannad rewards viewers with revelations that only become as impactful as they are thanks to our investment in the growth of its characters.
I'm getting a little bored off Fire Force and I want to power through it
At its best it's really cool at it's worst I guess it's MHA tier...
I'm watching mushishi and I just watched the episode with ginko's backstory
best character backstory I've seen in all of anime. No cap
