I got into LNs and web novels
(instead of having a character growth arc I had an isekai degenerate arc)

I can't get into reading. I have a hard time remembering or pronouncing a lot of names ij manga, so it's worse with the light novels π π

I f*** with light novels, Three Days of Happiness was such a good read
Only thing that keeps me from reading more of them is they usually 10+ volumes deep, makes it tough to start
Need to read Monogatari, Zaregoto and 86 asap though

I'm not sure if it's the Three Days of Happiness author or someone who helped him with it but he or she has like a shared universe of many short LNs in the same form of storytelling (one of them being Parasite In Love and another getting an anime movie soon)
86 is f***ing goated I love it...monogatari tho, s***'s too weird, it's what scared me off of LNs some time ago...the narrative was so all over the place

I feel you, reading can be boring but if you find something that excites you enough you might change your mind
there's a time and place for everything
I dont believe that manga, anime and LNs hold each any superiority over the other
I do believe you cant like the same s*** in all forms of media tho, That's f***ing crazy
Imagine reading nothing but stephen king, watching nothing but carpenter and listening to nothing but slipknot
that's like a walking netflix side character
