86 season 1 was incredible but man s2 was a huge drop off for me story wise. Feel it slowed down hard and got way less interesting

Short answer:

It's a directing masterpiece. I have a soft spot in particular for the match cuts that allow for seamless transitions between the two different settings of the peaceful backline and the hectic frontlines. All I ask for from anime is animation that has style and personality, and storyboarding that conveys ideas and eliminates the need for exposition. 86 has the latter. Season 2 was a big downgrade from season 1 though outside of the Ishii directed finale episodes.

On ep 8 of bocchi and man this animation stinks, especially during the actual concert. S*** almost looks like a 2000s anime at points

I still think most of the fights in Rakudai were good and the story was better imo

I actually agree, rakudais story makes more sense, same with the fights.

But for me when I watch these types of trash anime (not an insult just how I categorize it). I'm always gonna give the nod to the show that says f*** it and pushes that boundary of what makes sense.

I am definitely a bit biased because I also read the light novel after aswell, all in all we can't all like the same stuff and it is what it is, I respect your opinion homie

Last ep they're making prosthetics for the medical field using gund. Plus the old scientist lady that worked on gund before it all got shut down said that was her ultimate goal for how it could be used medically.

So I'm tryna figure out if prosthetic technology in this world is kinda mid or if its just that gund would be leaps and bounds better as a technological advancement
