These are kinda boring picks because of how mainstream they are but it would have to be Megumi Kouno and Ikarashi Kai

Honourable mention for Ryoma Ebata, China, Kerorira, Hiroto Nagata

Kai is so good
His recent work on Mob Psycho’s latest episode was awesome

I love how sharp the angles are on his work. Makes him instantly recognizable. He had some great cuts on Yama no Susume and Bocchi the Rock this season too, but as much as I love his animation, I'm hoping he's cooking up a new series as a director. Gridman ep 9 and Dynazenon ep 10 still live in my head rent free and I really wanna see what he can do with a full series.
The dude is pretty much Trigger's future anyways so it'll happen eventually I guess.

definitely keeping the “Kanada school” legacy of animators alive

You got an anilist account or anything?
I finished Parasyte. I thought it was pretty good. It's violent, but not in a gratuitous way. Good characters and memorable scenes. And it's quite interesting thematically. It basically has an environmental message, but at the same time condemns extremist acts in the name of such a cause. It definitely made me pensive.
