Eminence in Shadow is my S***

I remember that it's only for the current loop and that her shadow was stuck with the MC's loop like the other characters with him. The gist of it is that Shinpei is not looping back alone at a point in time where Shadow Ushio still exists. He's looping back with Shadow Ushio. She's essentially been a passenger tagging along with Shinpei since loop

I couldn't finish it but if you want to watch a good spectacle (fights sound and animation) this is a good one

If you don't like fan service avoid it

She might be a representation of how a person like Light sees and uses women and the negative implication is that the audience also sees her in the same way, and it would be better if she was a likable character but still mistreated by Light

TL;DR it's Fight Club esque

Code Geass is way dumber imo... but it had no logic and was very over the top from the beginning

2 week break for witch from mercury and it was just heating up

ngl i always had it on plan to read but the fan service is why it caught my attention

True I actually stopped watching in s2 where there was less fan service, but other fans told me to keep going because apparently the plot picks up later

The first season final arc is actually really fun to watch

Also if you like Soul Eater it's the same creator so expect similar humor/character dynamic (but the plot/world is less creative)

In Death Note at least in the beginning there are certain rules to this world and Light follows the rules and his plans are clever and make a lot of sense up until the one where he plans to forget the death note then remember it at the exact right time

Also L and the Kira task force are smart enough to counter Light

In Code Geass it starts off a little nonsense already with Lelouch mostly being lucky and s*** that everything works out just the way he planned it, basically every other character is either stupid or on Lelouch's side, and his goal doesn't really make sense because he could've went straight for his father instead of planning an entire war to make the world better... could've just controlled him to make peace with the Japanese or take his place

Light mostly seems very careful and calculated until the late episodes, unlike Lelouch who wings it
