What did you like about Call of the night?
Hmm idk it’s a chill show. Pretty visuals and the soundtrack is kinda lofi like. I only watch it at night preferably while sipping some wine

Pacing wise the anime falls off around the time skip but the story, world, characters, comedy, fights, and emotion are some of the best in anime and I got really invested in it
It's not even childhood nostalgia I started reading One Piece at age 20
P.S. The manga never falls off it stayed great

anime been adapting lately half a chapter per episode
but lately I've been interested to start the manga since it seems it's coming to a conclusion, maybe 5 years of content left

the writer, in the notes he leaves after chapters are done, has expressed his joy in finding real to life things in mangas. so much so that hes done it. to the point where he had an entire extra write up where he demonstrated that him and his editor didnt do their googles about something and it was prominent enough to include it in the official manga. hes even gone into detail about the locations he uses for the manga and their specific differences. to the point where the characters sort of break the Fourth wall.
so...no. lol. idc if u think its fantasy. the writer has clearly bridged that gap very early on and has made a point to show the connection between his fantasy world and the real world.
hard pass on this.

hell the writer even does it again in chapter 65 for the editors notes. you can see the in real life discourse being put on the manga. either address or dont
