Finished MHA Vigilantes season 2.
Think I like it better than original MHA in alot of ways
Could have seen more growth from Koichi with his quirk after season1 I was really hoping they would have him fly in the last second and save Captain Celebrity considering the other developments with his quirk
anyone have any shelf recommendations? looking for something that can fit my manga collection + some games/figures
It’s kind of funny how some parts of the net tries to frame Frieren as right-wing, only for this season to focus on people who refuse to abandon their homes even as they’re being destroyed or their lives are at risk. Culminating to Denken taking on what seems like an impossible mission just to save his hometown.
Another 10/10
You honestly have to be a rlly broken mf to watch a story that’s basically all about human connection, appreciating the little everyday moments, and simple acts of kindness, and somehow walk away with a racist take. They're not even engaging with the story at all, just projecting their garbage views onto it.
And it's not even a well thought out comparison. The show very clearly frames demons as a completely different species. They’re not "coded humans" or some metaphor for real world ppl - they exist to contrast how humans value empathy and relationships. So trying to turn that into some kind of justification for racism is pretty stupid. Then again, all racists are pretty f***in stupid

Was wondering if anyone itt was watching it

Finished Fire Force...ending was well..okay i suppose I'm whelmed
Now to wait for Soul Eater remake
Man that fire force final episode, this was the ending everyone and their momma hyped?
Idk if It was the anime or anything, but it was the most mediocre ending ive seen recently, staying true to the entire series legacy i guess. It was original at least, but i cant say much more. And holy s*** some of the dialogue, cringed so hard.
Feels like ohkubo wrote the entire story just to get to the final 2 minutes of this final episode
ghost in the shell sac was pretty good, but didn't match all the hype that i've seen for it over the years. not a fault of the show obv, just my expectations were higher based on how much i've heard about it. i found the stand alone episodes to be the best parts. i really liked diving into one aspect of the world and exploring it. those parts were by far the most interesting to me. the laughing man storyline never hooked me, but it did start to grab me towards the end. however the way everything wrapped up in the final episode was very predictable
i wanted to watch all of sac and the movie before science saru's version comes out in the summer but i don't think i'll have the time. i'm gonna at least try and watch the 1995 movie before then though
For someone who’s never played Civilization or any strategic games, I’m amazed how hooked I get on the statecraft aspect of Reincarnated as a Slime

the second season of SAC is also very good too i honestly would knock that out now if i were you TBH
the 95 movie is also legendary too, funny enough it actually borrows one of the chapters from the manga and kinda morphs it into its own thing. the manga is A LOT more lighthearted than the movie though but im looking forward to that in the science saru adaptation

i will watch the 2nd season at some point, i just won't have the time for it now. i have way too many shows to watch this season, i'm probably gonna end up with at least 10, if not more, depending on how many i drop. i will for sure watch the 95 movie though before science saru's adaptation since i can get that done in a night
This in relation to FF right? Might have to peep Soul Eater after tho there's rumors of a remaster happening
so might just wait for that
Yes, and honestly I love Soul Eater as is. I personally don’t even care for a remake. That’s how much I liked it. But, take that with a grain of salt because I’m an anime only
I remember reading akane banashi a long time ago lhad to drop it because I just didn't understand the main subject rakugo
