Maybe its the recency bias but I really feel like they took the chimera ant arc (which is the greatest anime arc OAT imo) and focused in on that vibe since the 2nd season.

they've condensed some manga stuff a bit too much but it is what it is with anime adaptations things get cut sometimes

Frieren dropped one of the strongest episodes of season 2 so far

With Frieren I don't really feel motivated to watch the daily stories animated but the next arc is arguably the best in the series, so I'll hop in whenever they reach there

The whole Manga One website has been self imploding the last couple days. A lot of famous authors pulled their series from their service like the duo that does Frieren, Rumiko Takahashi, ONE...Basically a lot of the biggest writers at Shogakukan.

They had a scandal last year too where they drove an author to suicide and are famous for not respecting authors in general. This news is really in line with how I feel about them
