Best ep of the season (so far)

I read jjk manga after finishing season 1 of the anime and I read the entire demon slayer manga after finishing the first season of the anime. In both cases (jjk more than demon slayer) the manga was so so much worse than the anime. But when it comes to lightnovels the anime was rarely better than the lightnovels. Always enjoyed the books more.

Anyone else feel this way?

There's a 1h prequel called Whispers of Dawn. Watch that first

I guess it's because more words and less restraint allows more flexibility with light novels than manga? I don't see how much "worse" the manga are compared to tjwoe respective animes. The proper feeling would be that anime is able to elevate a manga more with animation.

really good debut chapter, a little short though. feels like it has the sauce but we'll see what these next few chapters deliver

I read Demon Slayer a lil bit before the anime started, and finished it up as it was airing. The anime for Demon Slayer immensely elevated the source material imo. Without it, it’s just your average cliche Shonen. Characters are 1 note, plot is very straight forward, the power system isn’t anything special, and the MC is boring af. Ufotable’s animation is doing all the heavy lifting. I don’t think anyone is gonna say they prefer Demon Slayer manga, over the anime.

JJK is actually good. From manga, to anime. In this case, the anime elevates the source material as well, but the source material is phenomenal to begin with, so if they just did a straight adaptation it already is above Demon Slayer in my eyes. There is a lot more parity between the anime and manga.

Way I’m feeling I might rewatch Zankyou no Terror… new season of Legend of the Galactic Heroes can’t come soon enough

I am caught up with MF Ghost now. The only thing I've been watching lately when it comes to Anime. Its just a fun racing show you can chill to and turn your mind off.
