How does the chat feel about idols.

I didn't get it until recently I've been into this group called =LOVE.

don't mind the idols themselves, but they just serve as a corporate capitalistic end goal more than anything.
A bunch of suits moving pretty girls around like chess pieces. (even moreso than in america with pop artists/industry plants)

They're fun when you're following their journey from complete amateurs to semi-competent performers to actually competent performers (Keyakizaka46's entire career was pure soul). For me it's akin to watching NBA teams with young, developing players reach their potential as the years go on.

The ones who are just normal music artists are kinda boring though and I have no interest in them.

Why can't people just read the manga? Why the f*** would you suffer through Toei pacing for 20 years worth of conent?

the mangaka has been struggling health wise, so some parts of the final battle felt rushed

but i think it ended as well as it could’ve. a few things i wish were touched upon more but overall very fun.

Sakamoto Days has been rough lately but will hopefully be better on binge read

Kagurabachi is already top tier at Shueisha

Ichi The Witch is a really fun read

Ultimate Exorcist Kiyoshi has had ups and downs, but the character designs are at least interesting

JJK Modulo has not been a letdown like most shonen sequels

DBS coming back soon (i hope)

JoJoLands has been awesome

That Time…Slime is hitting a good arc

Versus is a really cool concept

Bug Ego is so wacky i love it

shonen in general is in a really good place imo
