hyakuemu was cool. i haven't watched anything that was almost entirely rotoscoped like that but i know there are others that have done it before. i thought the story was pretty predictable, i knew there was no way we were getting a definitive winner and that komiya would end up being just as good if not better than togashi. i found all the talk about the purpose of competition, anxiety, fear of losing, the glory of winning, your reasons for competing, whether the outcome even matters, etc to be very thought provoking, probably because i have my first jiu jitsu comp coming up in a few weeks and those thoughts were already starting to swirl around my head lol. worth a watch
