Yup Vanced is one of the first apps I download when I get a new phone. I believe someone will eventually take over.

All things said and done im not too worried. If the nft thing is true then very soon someone will do a fork that will see stable updates (people are still gonna try regardless anyway)

I had Vanced for a while before and found out they came up with the manager app. My s*** hasn't been updated for months and it still work just great

On my previous phone I had it for at least 1.5 years, maybe even more, without updating it

The only issue I had is that some new features weren't 100% reliable (like "shorts" not loading because I didn't have the new UI), but usually those were gimmicks anyway

So what's the go to high end Android phone right now? Thinking of getting an S21 Ultra because it's cheaper than the S22 and looks better imo.

I've got the s22 ultra and love it. Battery and camera has been amazing after a few tweaks

It's not a huge difference to s21 ultra though so if you wanna save money then get that

My older Pixel is faster when it comes to performance for some reason but for an overall package (Pixel is missing a lot of features, it's functioning like the "Apple of Android"), that's the best Android to buy

My current phone is a OnePlus 7 Pro that I've had since 2019.

It still runs smooth tbh but the camera is average and only 90 hz are the main reasons I want to upgrade. Plus I want 5G.

If you wanna try something new, I heard great things about the Galaxy Z Fold3. Otherwise the S22 and S21 are just pretty much the standalone flagship Android phones.

Only thing i'll fight for this phone is the sheer speed it has and the quality of the camera it outputs

S21 is a great pick for you if you wanna go maximalist route

Any of y'all recently made the switch from Android to iPhone? Last time I had one was like the iPhone 5S and I hated it because of how restrictive it was. Is it still like that or has it gotten better?
