It must be a requirement for every UI dev team to inevitably f*** things up for no good reason. Like every single God damn company.
New Samsung One UI is weird af and ugly sometimes.
The finished/final version of it should hopefully be out in like 3-4 months!
Excited for this. A big update that actually lives up to being a version update and not just couple tweaks

Yeah it seems like it'll be a good one so far... I'm looking forward to it!
Love this. Lames mad they removed the glyph lights lol
I'm glad they trying something different but I just can't see myself flipping my phone over and using it in any way. I'd forget about it very quickly
god man i wish i could get one of the fold or flip phones the new ones are sick

I would get the Flip 7 but Samsung ain't really doing s*** with the cover screen other than using its own apps. Even Motorola let's almost any app work on their Razr cover screens.
Moved from iOS to the Fold 7 and RCS is stuck on "setting up" but other than that this thing is great

It all comes down to how it will be implemented and will we get an alternative like the community coming up with Revanced

Doing this in the guise of customer security just so they can control the flow of apps (and the money associated) better

Samsung is so lame man. They used to be the gold standard for casuals and enthusiasts alike, now they're bouncing on Apple's d***, salivating at the next chance to be just like them.
That's why Apple is always winning smh.

People also install viruses in their PC by accident. It's not the responsibility of the manufacturer to keep you safe. And even then, it could be implemented way better than coincidentally breaking everything that makes the phone work while untethered from the stock experience.
Plus, I know people don't like to read in this day and age, but pretty much every step of the way to unlock your bootloader, to installing ROMs and installing (side loading) apps, it's constantly WARNING YOU. 3rd Party apps could contain malicious stuff. Unlocking your bootloader could make your phone less secure. Etc. it's a reason why side loading apps requires you to go into the DEVELOPER SETTINGS.
I've accepted those terms for 15 years and been fine. Installed all kinds of 3rd party s***, not even side loading, s*** I straight up installed thru the recovery menu or thru Magisk, and my phone has NEVER been hacked. Absolutely 0 data breaches.
The real reason is they don't want people getting savvy to the pirate s***.

You should have the right to download any software on your computer

https://twitter.com/TheHackersNews/status/1960228063834419611Some bs....hope EU or something stops it. When people sideload they already have "play" protect stopping you from installing and giving you a warning. If you decide to continue that's on you. We shouldn't suffer for those who do not understand sideloading and the implications and tbh we a very small demographic who do it
