I was wondering why people flock to dudes like Andrew Tate until I remembered that
Its so easy to disseminate hate and lies by just sounding smart, appeal to authority is a dangerous slope man. I was gobbling his words up, but the key is these dudes are only good in a vacuum
If they cannot control the narrative the narrative dissolves. If they debate someone its in a controlled environment, and never with a moderator.
Wish we pushed a bigger emphasis on integrity of character versus loyalty to character

To every cultural movement, there will eventually be a counter movement. People been upset about all the cappin that’s been going on under the banner of feminism etc. for the longest. There has been a lot of misuse of these terms. Tate comes along with the completely opposite worldview at the right time and he is good at speaking too which made the kids flock to him.

What i wrote and what I MEANT are two different things
I misspoke, shouldnt have used the word good and thats my fault
I meant in the sense that they operate in a vacuum, obviously theyre not a good speaker if the minute they speak to anyone else in a non controlled environment they crumble. Much of his influence comes from optics, and if youre stuck in an echo chamber you wont see that.
But thats the insular nature of people like Andrew. They talk in a pseudo intellectual way that some young men see as credible. Whether you believe that or not is irrelevant, because it happens.
I am not defending Andrew, nor giving him praise. I simply had a moment of reflection to a time in my life where something similar almost happened
