Andre 3000 has the best discography in rap history? I must have missed that. He only has a flute album.
Outkast has one of the greatest discographies and changed the genre. Not Andre 3000. Outkast. Yall need to get that right. Mentioning any accomplishment of Andre without saying Big Boiās name in the same breath is a crime.
Perhaps your best post
āitās jokingly the worst rap album in history..ā

LMAO
Proper is letting Andre have it ššš
Ok
#HashtagRelatable
This sucks ass. lol. Thank God I completely missed all the promo for this and didnāt get my hopes up.
i donāt get how a 15 min low effort project with little to no promo is pretentious
heās not presenting this as something bigger than it is lol
I think just presenting this is kinda lame and pointless
He shouldāve had track 8 ābullshitting in 7th grade keyboard class with your friends and thinking youāre Beethoven.ā
He said in the release notes that he doesnāt know what the notes on a piano are and just randomly presses the keys
It's easier to get by with a good sounding loop with limited knowledge than a whole ass wannabe ensemble piece that is consistent playing and in real time
Andre did do a lot of production and co prod on outkast and other dungeon family artists
I got at least 10 demos I made when I was 20 that sound like this in a Iām just gonna f*** around until I find something good type of way
no one in here could put out this album im so tired of arm chair creatives
Oh I would s*** on this nigga lol and I get paid to play original pieces on songs and to do og samples for someone to chop up later
Rapping is a different story
Jazz slander again I canāt believe it
Jazz does have cohesion and a language to it lol
This is actually jazz slander
Free form music doesn't mean doing whatever - Jazz has an entire play method, style and logic to it in itself
"randomly but with purpose"

FlyLo wasn't trying to do literal instrumental pieces tho
He was doing samples, midi original builds and then collabs
He was not trying to play the sax and release it when he didn't know how
There are many players that don't know or fully understand the technical terms and knowledge of chords and keys and notes but they either develop their own formula of understanding that still ends up "right" in everything but name, or they taught their ear and muscle memory how to play conventionally and stay within that standard box off the top of their head without the full ins and outs
Like idg what all this posturing and reaching is for Andre just because he is Andre lol
And people have the right to not like your art
Just as you have the right to put out your art
especially when that song he dedicated to his mom years back was 1000x better playing than this
Yeah that lil secret ep thing during covid or whatever is way better than all this s*** he been doing and felt way more genuine too
This isnāt sports. Technical ability isnāt as important when it comes to art.
Jazz is one of the genres where technical ability is critiqued the most lmao
is "instrumental piece" confined to only being in classical music? Cause I can think of plenty great hip hop instrumentals created by people without technical ability
He obviously means by people who are claiming to use "actual" instruments lol
FlyLo wasn't trying to do literal instrumental pieces tho
He was doing samples, midi original builds and then collabs
He was not trying to play the sax and release it when he didn't know how
Wait FlyLo made Youāre Dead without knowing how to play instruments?
Thatās actually insane, He had to be working with session musicians or something because thereās no way
They were rubber banding and twisting everything you were saying LMAO @2words
