I dont like the new music really but thats okay, if thats what he wants to make then he should do it. Bro has struggled for so long to put music out and he finally found a way he feels comfortable expressing himself. Everybody should have the right to express theirselves, and everyone is entitled to like or dislike it but he shouldnt be looked at as disrespectful or doing something negative

To me, New Blue Sun was a really cool record. I went to the show and it was a really special experience. There's a lot of beauty in that genre of music... the inventiveness and delicacy of it is pretty fly honestly.

Clearly he just cannot figure out what a solo Andre 3000 rap album looks like and for a guy as uncompromising as him, that's more than a good enough reason to not worry about it. People have built that prospective solo record up to this mythical standard that he'd never ever be able to reach. I think it's a similar thing with a guy like Frank. Fans are just way too entitled and treat this s*** like a product or a new Marvel movie... idk man.

Music is so deeply personal to guys like him, he more than deserves to just drop whatever he resonates with.

Yeah I feel u -- it's not like the kind of music you just listen to all the time, but it's really good wind down music or something to have one while you're working at your computer or reading or getting ready for bed or whatever.

this is not amazing music, not terrible, and if it was a non-famous bandcamp artist nobody would be paying attention, even within the ambient music scene
its admirable and we should support him learning and experimenting
pretending these albums are instant classics, nominating them for grammies, organising listening parties in art galleries, etc. is not actually constructive to doing that
this is not andre 3k's fault btw i guarantee you he is completely humble and honest that he is still learning
