I don’t think this album came across as bitter at all
It’s clear he’s coming off a break up but I felt when he spoke negatively it came across in a humorous and self aware manner
The adlibs when he says “getting your cheeks beat”
And the skit at the end of “HereIAm” are two examples of this
@newaccount42069 @pneumonia
It’s definitely not bitter, he literally said when he saw a pic of her with her new man, he wished he was the person taking the picture.
I think he’s genuinely happy for her and just wasn’t able to be the person she needed him to be.
throwing on Yes Lawd! before getting that new new
although this project has never left rotation
My girl likes the new album but could never get her into Yes Lawd. Even though it’s one of my favorites
I finally found a lossless HQ version
lmk if anyone needs even though this is out tomorrow lmao
I don't think this is better than yes lawd, a great album. Some of my favourite anderson paak songs on here definitely. But its just a shame its got some weak tracks I think
Unpopular opinion but walk on by is already overrated I think
That being said
I do think it's better than the last 2 paak solo albums
I think that must count for something
I think I've fallen into the trap of comparing this to one of the best soul albums of the 21st century, its predecessor...
It's definitely the best soul album I've heard since their last... on par with silk sonic which I do think was a moment to behold. If this album had maybe 4 fewer tracks and extended some of the cuts instead, it could be a 10

y'all gon bond over this new one though
the more she gets into the nxworries vibe she might double back to Yes Lawd!

I think as a whole, it's a really great album listen and the tracks flow really well in the progression of the album, however I agree near the end I wish some more of the tracks were more fleshed out. I don't think there need to be 3 songs b2b2b at the end of the tracklist all less than a minute and a half long,
However I also agree that some of my favorite Paak songs are on here too & it's definitely going to be in rotation more than the last 2 paak solo albums

Hearing 2024 earl on a more mainstream feature is so dope. Took me back to Super Rich Kids. He maintained his esoteric stuff but still fit in so well. He could kill more features like this. SZA maybe next
Yall niggas doing whole reviews of an album that aint even fully dropped yet is some
