Do you guys think ‘did Lalo send you?’ in saul’s first BB scene been explained at this point?

If saul didn’t get told by mike that Lalo was gonna die that night, it would’ve finally been set up but currently saul thinks lalo is dead.

And in the next season, it seems lalo has way more reason to go after nacho, Gus and mike than saul.

Especially now. Since everyone he loved he could have lost was lost in this finale

How would yall rank the seasons on this show? Im at the end of s2 rn i found the first season kinda boring but this second one is a bit better so far imo, i wonder how does the show progress since then

Episodes like Mijo, Five-O, and Marco really made me like Season 1 more then 2

Lalo's a better criminal in every area but walt's superpower is like jesse said. He's just lucky
Lalo doesn't have obvious ties and weaknesses to exploit like the people walt went up against tho.(Gus, Tuco, mike towards the end)

We got 4 years to clear up Aint no time for the adventures of Gus in Chile

Unless whatever happened in Santiago or Chile is part of how Gus wins against lalo

if this is the last Breaking Bad universe show/movie, I hope they'd explain it considering all the references there are to it in both shows

Dude is just someone who got mad that Hector killed his lover. Pretty decent businessman and d*** dealer as well. Was poor and worked hard to get out of Chile into the US

Nah tbf there is something there thats kept secret. Its referenced that his past is hidden and even Mike nor Hank could find much out. Speculated he was part of Pinochet's regime

I dont know if they'll have time or deem it pertinent to the story. Might have to wait for a third series..

i think its best they keep gus's chile story murky, adds to the legend

I’m trying to talk about each season a little more in depth to give a better clarification of my feelings on these seasons.

BB SZN 1 - easily the slowest and shortest season of Breaking Bad, although saying that it’s the slowest isn’t saying much because it cuts to the chase rather quickly, what kind of brings this season down in comparison to most of these other seasons though is that the stereotypes of these characters (Hank, Marie, Walt Jr., and Skyler) are all at their absolute worse, we follow a rather clever yet unnecessary Walter Lite esque Marie story for a while that feels like it leads nowhere, Hank is more unlikeable then he’s ever been, Skyler (while she grows to be more sympathetic) is quite naggy.
Walt Jr. is a f***ing d***head, i could go on and on about the problems but this season really excelled at getting us geared up with all the set up and the tension of Walt and Jesse going up against Krazy-8, how that affects them and then ending off the season with them facing Tuco
Great iconic moments and definitely a completely necessary season that was needed to make what this franchise is.

I can’t say it aged the best but i respect it none the less.

i personally felt like s3 was lower but i agree mostly

yeah i can see that. I didn't really think they would talk about Gus that much until they showed the village Mike was in. i'd be happy with even just a opening scene or something
